To be clear, this is not my design, but a "shot-for-shot remake" of... of all things... the UK limited edition 7" vinyl single of David Bowie's "Cat People (Putting Out Fire With Gasoline)" (B-side: Dimitri Tiomkin's "The Green Leaves of Summer").
Who knows where the heart truly leads us? I like the commercial release soundtrack cover for Inglourious Basterds; however, I like this more. Since I couldn't locate a high resolution scan of the jacket, I had no choice but to "remake" it.
As I said, this is not my design. In this case, imitation is truly the sincerest form of flattery... the changes I made in the process of remaking the original are negligible -- too inconsequential to lay claim or accept credit. Regardless, I post the design here for the benefit of those folks that share my appreciation for the jacket and desire a high resolution version for the parcel of real estate this soundtrack takes up in their own digital jukebox.
