I'm a long-standing Weird Al fan. For my birthday one year, my friend bought me a bootleg 7-CD collection of Weird Al obscurities -- a fine gift; an even finer opportunity to parody Weird Al's commercially released "Essential" collection! I played it close to the source and found it marvelous how, with just a slight context shift, Weird Al's composure seemed to shift from confidently -- mischievously -- cosmopolitan to insecure: squeamish and apologetic! Maybe it's just me, however, if I were the proud author of "Satan Eats Cheez Whiz," my eyes would be assertively looking at that camera like it was two pounds of crap in a thimble and saying, "Boo Ya!" But that's just me...
